Smoke-Free Policy

The mission of the Orlando Housing Authority (OHA) is "To offer a choice of safe and affordable housing options and opportunities for economic independence for residents of Orlando and Orange County." The OHA strives to provide housing options that are decent, safe, and sanitary at an economical cost.

Purpose: The purpose of the non-smoking policy is to improve indoor air quality in public housing, benefit the health of public housing residents and OHA staff, reduce the risk of catastrophic fires, and lower overall maintenance costs.
