Notice of the Public Comment Period & Subsequent Moving To Work (MTW) Public Hearing Orlando Housing Authority

MOVING TO WORK PLAN FOR FISCAL YEAR 2021/YEAR 10

APRIL 1, 2020 TO MARCH 31, 2021

The Orlando Housing Authority (OHA) is seeking public input on the Moving to Work (MTW) Fiscal Year (FY) 2021/Year 10 Plan. The Plan describes OHA's MTW Program activities designed to (1) increase self-sufficiency among families served, (2) reduce costs and achieve greater cost effectiveness in Federal expenditures, and (3) increase housing choices for low-income families. The Plan delineates implementation strategies and timeframes for proposed and approved activities and uses of MTW funds for the period of April 1, 2020 to March 31, 2021.

The public comment period will begin Monday, September 16, 2019 and end Thursday, October 17, 2019. OHA will conduct a public hearing, Thursday, October 17, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the OHA's Administration Office, 390 N. Bumby Avenue, Orlando, Florida 32803. The OHA's Board of Commissioners will receive verbal and/or written comments on the Plan.

A copy of the MTW FY 2021/Year 10 Plan will be available for review commencing Monday, September 16, 2019, at the addresses listed below (10:00 a.m. through 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday):

Public participation in the process is encouraged. Attendance at the public hearing is not mandatory. All oral and/or written comments submitted by the close of the comment period will be considered. No comments will be considered after the close of the comment period.
