ALL MEDIA OUTLETS - GREATER ORLANDO AREA

RE: MANAGEMENT OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF ORLANDO'S WEBSITE CONTENT

To Whom It May Concern:

As you may be aware, many governmental entities, as well as private businesses have been sued recently alleging that their websites failed to be ADA compliant. As a prudent reaction to this situation the Housing Authority of the City of Orlando ("OHA") has recently removed some of the content formerly found on its website until OHA could complete an audit of its content and take all available actions to insure that its website is ADA compliant. While none of the documents that have been removed are mandated to be available on OHA 's website, OHA recognizes that the removal of the documents while the website is being reconstructed may be an inconvenience to some entities and/or individuals. OHA apologizes for an inadvertent inconvenience to anyone.

However, OHA has always complied with its obligations to maintain and provide access to public records by the public pursuant to Florida laws, and herein reaffirms its commitment to do so. Therefore, any documents previously available on OHA 's website, as well as any other public records shall remain available at any time they may be requested through a public records request until the website reconstruction is completed. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Sincerely,

Ricardo L. Gilmore, ESQ.
