June 23, 2026 OHA Board Meeting Minutes
The Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of Orlando, Florida (OHA) held its Board Meeting on Tuesday, June 23, 2026. Chair Brooks called the meeting to order at 2:02 p.m. This was the eighth (8th) meeting of the 2026 fiscal year. The meeting lasted two (2) hours and fo1ty-four (44) minutes.

III. ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES - MAY 21, 2026
Commissioner Sascha Rizzo motioned to accept the May 21, 2026, Board meeting minutes.
Commissioner Laurie Botts seconded the motion, which was carried. The May 21, 2026, meeting minutes were accepted.

Mr. Travaris McCurdy, OHA's Public Information Legislative Liaison, reported on the following:
- A media advisory was issued on May 26 in preparation for the May 27 check presentation held in partnership with the office of Congressman Maxwell Frost.
- OHA's ongoing collaboration with its public relations firm, Quest, to develop and distribute media advisories as needed.

Mr. Travaris McCurdy, OHA's Public Information Legislative Liaison, reported on the following:
- An update on the 21st Century Road to Housing Act.
- OHA's ongoing communication with the offices of Senator Scott, Senator Moody, and Congressman Webster to schedule in-person meetings. Updates will be provided once meeting dates have been confirmed.
- "Downtown Orlando Forecast" Panel Invitation
Vice Chair John Crossman informed the Board that he and Ms. Bryant had been invited to participate in a panel discussion with him and PMG Developers on affordable housing. - Vice Chair Crossman's Recommendation to Change Vice President of Administration/CFO's Report to Board
Vice Chair John Crossman requested an update on the complaint he had forwarded regarding access to certain information on OHA's website. Ms. Vivian Bryant, Esq., President/CEO, reported that the issue had been resolved. - Ms. Bryant stated that the board meeting is recorded. Attorney Gilmore reiterated that Commissioners may request that statements be included in the minutes.

- Commissioner Sascha Rizzo requested the Board's permission for Ms. Sandy Hostetter, Vice President of Asset Development for Lift Orlando, to address the Board regarding Lift Orlando's proposal for Lake Mann Homes.
- Vice Chair John Crossman informed the Board that he had spoken with CVR Associates, the third-party firm procured by the Orlando Housing Authority to facilitate the CEO Evaluation Workshop. He encouraged the Board to review the firm's qualifications.
- Commissioner Sascha Rizzo requested the Board's permission for Ms. Sandy Hostetter, Vice President of Asset Development for Lift Orlando, to address the Board regarding Lift Orlando's proposal for Lake Mann Homes.

VIII. OLD BUSINESS
Commissioner Sascha Rizzo moved that all future Old Business agendas automatically include any issues raised at the previous meeting and any unresolved questions previously brought before the Board. Commissioner Laurie Botts seconded the motion. The motion carried.

IX. NEW BUSINESS
Attorney Ricardo Gilmore, OHA's Legal Counsel, discussed the Government in Sunshine Rules.
X. PRESIDENT/CEO'S REPORT
Ms. Vivian Bryant, Esq., President/CEO, repo1ied on the following.
- The Orlando Housing Authority NSPIRE scores
- PRADA Conference documents.
Ms. Bryant acknowledged also the Board's busy schedules and expressed her appreciation for the members' continued service and willingness to volunteer their time and expertise to the Orlando Housing Authority.
XI. CHAIR'S REPORT
Chair Brooks congratulated OHA on the NSPIRE scores.
